So, I haven't been updating on the baby bunnies. None yet, however, the momma hasn't moved from her nest since Wednesday morning. Except for when Todd had to get something from the shed....Oh and when he had to mow the grass yesterday, and when we had 7 children out there eating lunch and playing. She just always comes back when we leave and sits there, I didn't think bunny labor lasted that long?? Better her than me!!
On a side note, Todd has been doing a lot of house projects lately: new gazebo out back, new lights in the garage, (not to metion the new wiring he and my dad did after some readjustments to the garage to fit my new vehicle), and the most exciting today...Alyssa's room is now half pink!!! She LOVES it and said "Daddy, you such a good boy, you make my room pink!!" I will post pictures when her room is put back together. He still has a small list to complete everything, but it is dwindling very quickly. Thank you Honey for all your hard work...We all love you sooo much!

Labor Day?
No, I did not confuse this weeks Holiday with the one in September. I think our backyard pet is going to have her babies today. Last week I noticed that she was building her nest...it seemed more like she was digging the Grand Canyon. It was really amazing, she dug a tunnel so far under the ground that we could only see her tail, then got a ton of grass to fill in and completely covered the hole like it wasn't even there. The whole process took over three hours. (No I didn't stare out the window that whole time, I do have a few other things to do ;-)! This would be even neater if the babies didn't mean tearing up our grass, putting another hole in the yard, oh and the fact that there will be more bunnies to eat the bark off our only 2 backyard trees! So this morning when I opened the curtains she was sitting at her hole, and hasn't moved. I know this is very exciting for you all...I promise to keep you posted!!

My latest eBay purchase!!
Most of you know I am a serious eBay shopper (& seller). But even I didn't believe I would buy something this big on eBay...you know sometimes the shipping charges can be more than the purchase ; -). OK seriously, you know we have been debating on a larger family vehicle. I tried the minivan and I just couldn't do it, so I decided to keep looking for a SUV with a third row. Then after searching and pricing I decided I just don't want to pay that much for a new vehicle since our current SUV was paid off. So I did what I usually do when I want to buy something but pay nothing for it...I looked on eBay. I found the exact Trailblazer I wanted: Third row seating, nice color, 4 wheel drive, low miles, and apparently in excellent condition, and Most importantly CHEAP!!! Oh, and it was located in Crestwood Illinois...just blocks from my Grandpa's condo. So Todd and I talked and did some research, got a Carfax report, and decided to take the plunge (they even traded our Escape for Kelly Blue Book price before seeing it) and hoped the deal wasn't too good to be true...we "bought it now". Without giving money up front of course. We took a trip up there and it was exactly as described!! So here it is:
So some of you may think we are just plain crazy, but it is incredible how cheap we got it and we Love it. You never know what you may find on eBay.
Thank you sooo much Aunt Dee Dee for watching Aiden and Alyssa while we went to look and get it. And Thank You sooo much Uncle Gerry for going with us to thoroughly check it out before we bought it. And Grandpa, it was so great to see you, Alyssa and Aiden had a great time snuggling and playing with you!
Since I am posting a picture of our new family car, I thought I would show you what we use for date night (you know, once or twice a year!).
Here is Todd's new Mustang, I love it just as much!

Alyssa Says...
Just some interesting / funny things from the mouth of a 3 Year Old:
- You are a silly billy billy billy goat.
- Come back here crazy cakes.
- I am not Alyssa Faith, I a silly nut.
- (If you call her a silly nut) I not a silly nut, I Alyssa Faith.
- (While sitting on the toilet) Mommy, let's pray. Please God help me not to have a accident and Mommy ate all of my M & M's.
- Aiden, I am going to get you stinky boy!
- Mommy, Aiden Poopy.
- Good job Mommy, you such a big girl, you pee pee dance on the potty. (I pondered posting this one, then I remembered we've probably all been there...or are on the way).
Aiden Says:
- Eh
- Uh
- AHa
And when he said something that somewhat resembled Ma Ma, Alyssa said:
"No Mommy, he said Da Da".

Just an Update
I haven't posted in a while so I thought I'd let you know what we've been up to. Above you will see me and my precious children on Mother's Day. We had a relaxing day at home after church. Todd cooked lunch for us and Dad and (brother Todd) were in charge of the dessert...although Mom and me did end up doing some of the cooking...hmmmm?
Since Todd did work the weekend of Mother's Day, he surprised me and took off two days last week. I can not even remember how long it has been since he had two days off!! We went to the pottery place and painted a couple of plates, ate at Sonic and then went to Coldstone for some ice cream...Yuummm!!
This is how my house looked the two days he was home. I swear Alyssa can be pretty insepartable (is that a word?) from him when he is around during the day. Wish that were the case at 4 am!!
"The Boys" of the house. Aiden is really starting to pay attention to Demi, I think he is trying to figure out what he is. Fortunately he is the best dog with the kids.
Ready for summer...Todd found these chairs on sale and they are really cute. They have been booted out of the house (against the request from Alyssa to keep them inside with the umbrellas up), really we have enough stuff inside. So that is what we have been doing...Oh, I also need some advice / input from my Mommy friends and anyone else with an opinion. We are thinking of getting a bigger vehicle for the family and I am researching SUV's with a third row and Minivans (I know, I know I always said I would never drive a minivan) please give me some input on what you like / dislike about these vehicles. And the function of them with the kids :-)))
Thank You!

Mews and Weber
Today at noon I actually turned the TV on in an attempt to watch the local news. Alyssa was with me, here is our conversation:
Alyssa: What are you doing Mommy?
Me: I am trying to watch the news.
A: The Mews?
Me: The news, I am going to see what the weather is supposed to be like.
A: I am so proud of you, you watch the mews and weber.
Me: The news and weather...Look Alyssa there is a tornado. (On the TV is a clear video of a moving tornado)
A: Mommy that's not a tomato, that's a watermelon.
I will leave it at that...your guess is as good as mine!!
