Purdue Spring Fest

On Saturday we got to enjoy the Purdue Spring Fest. It's a FREE event on Purdue campus that has a ton of stuff for kids/adults to do. We were in a time crunch so we did as much as we could...but there was so much more we could have done. And the weather was absolutely beautiful!

Alyssa ready to milk a cow.

She did a great job, I think she shot some on her shoes.

Aiden pointing to let everyone know that was his sister milking the cow!

Holding a baby duck...

...duck jumping in Aiden's lap.

Okay, here it goes, cricket brownie...

In...

Ummmm, is it supposed to taste like this?

and out! Yes, that is my daughter touching a public trash can. No worries we sanitized pretty quickly ;-)

Yum, this honey tastes much better!

Aiden enjoyed some too!!

What a great day we had. This is now definitely an event we will attend every year (hopefully with more time). We didn't even get into the insect petting zoo where you can hold all sorts of creatures.
We are having a garage sale on Saturday and all my stuff is still sitting unpriced in the garage. I guess I will stop procrastinating now and get to work.

Easter Weekend

Our Easter weekend in review...

Aiden watching Daddy get his egg out.

Alyssa being extremely careful (there's a first time for everything).

Can't I just do it myself???

Thank You!!

Making resurrection cookies. If you have never made these with your children, you should...it is an awesome way to teach them the true meaning of Easter.

Aiden's turn.

Baskets...

He LOVED the dinosaurs!

Princess Easel.

All ready for church.

A little squeeze.

Our Family.

Egg hunt.

More egg hunt.

With a little help from Daddy to get one out of the tree.

Hope everyone had a blessed Easter!
