Milk's Favorite Cookie (Part two)

I thought I would expand a bit on OREOs. As you read in my previous OREO post, my older brother is pretty serious about his OREO cookies. So I was shocked when we had a conversation about him not eating them anymore. I am sure this is only temporary...you see he made a bet. Not a bet to stop eating OREOs (although I am sure before this that would have been a pretty good one), but a bet to lose weight. He bet 4 or 5 (not sure the exact specifics) other men that he would lose 15 pounds by a certain date. All these men bet a (pricey) amount of money that they would lose the weight or each put in the money. That money to be divided between the ones who did lose their weight.

So before I lose you...here is the interesting part. The only thing Troy did was quit eating OREOs at night. Here are the results:

He dropped 17 pounds (in a few short weeks).
Saved approximately $21.00 a month in OREOs, not to mention the amount saved in milk (Sarah did say she now has to check the dates on the milk to make sure it gets drank before it goes bad).
And possibly will win a large sum of money if the others fail.

The moral to this story is that Troy Phillips was carrying around 17 pounds of OREO cookies on him at all times. (Again if I got any of the specifics wrong...feel free to correct me as I am sure you will in my comments sections). I love you big brother!!

As for those wondering, I did get permission to blog on this subject :-)
