Quick Update

So apparently I am not updating my blog as much as some would like...so here is a quick review of what we have been up to. Todd is taking a lot more time off work lately (YEAH!) and we have been doing a lot of little family outings. We took Alyssa to her first movie at the Theater and saw "Fly Me to The Moon". It was in 3D and Alyssa was unsure of that at first. She even started out on my lap like the dragonflies were really going to land on her, but soon she adjusted and got back into her seat between Daddy and Me and hogged the popcorn...which she thought was the coolest new thing to eat!! Thanks Grandma for coming to watch Aiden so we could have a "date" with Alyssa!!!

We also have been taking lots of trips to all the parks around to take advantage of this wonderful weather before it is gone :( I can't believe summer is already over.

Aiden turns 1 in exactly two weeks...yes, this does make me sad. I can not believe how much quicker the time goes with number 2! We are taking advantage of Alyssa's preschool mornings to spend one on one time together. Although I will catch him wandering around "looking" for something and I really do think he is looking for her.

Alyssa is growing like a weed. I went to the mall last week and bought jeans for her since she is way to tall for last years...I bought 4t and had to take them all back because they were floods. I took her with me so she could try on the clothes and ended up with 5t...she is 3 1/2 years old and is wearing 5t. Thank goodness for the adjustable waist since the 5t would fall off her otherwise. I can't believe I already have to take her into dressing rooms to try her clothes on before I can buy them. Suddenly buying clothes for her is no longer fun.

They have both already started pushing each other's buttons...really bad some days. I won't go into detail as I would be writing all day, but they each know what to do to set the other off...yea for me...

OK here is what you really want, right?

Aiden trying to get Alyssa out of the bathroom, he will bang on that door no matter who is inside.

Alyssa caught a butterfly on the pedestrian bridge.

Daddy showing it to Aiden.

Taking a break from washing Daddy's car so she could wash my front door...or make it worse...oh well, Aiden enjoyed it.

He always has something in his mouth these days, not an OREO (we all know what those do) but close enough!

A typical day at our house!
There's a brief review of our life right now...Have a Great Week!!
